Warm weather and colorful Disney-decorated streets.
Anaheim, California is a dream for families looking for a cultured, sports-rich city just outside of Los Angeles to raise their kids.
It would’ve been a dream-come-true for Amy Lewis, whose parents moved from Mexico to the flamboyant town due to the compelling attractions it offered, but, unfortunately, her family was forced to move.
She was too young to remember most aspects of the city, but she has a clear lingering yearning for the residence that had been left behind due to the “pricey” rent.
“Of all the places, I wasn’t sure why they chose Tennessee,” Amy, 13, stated. She finds the state much more bland than California, which still remains a land of talent and creativity that she prefers to be a part of.
An example of this talent and creativity would be her knack for fashion design.
“Becoming a fashion designer is my dream job,” acknowledged Amy when the question arose. “I draw sketches sometimes when I’m bored.”
“She already looks like a fashion designer, though,” commented an outfit-adoring onlooker. “She certainly knows how to dress well.”
Amy plans to select the Fashion Design elective next year, where she intends to further her knowledge of the subject.
